shake it, wash it, dry it. Simple but effective, it's really common sense, and they don't have problems with moths.+++ DO NOT....- Use aggressive detergents, chemicals or bleach products. These can damage the wool in a carpet and leave unsightly stains.+++ DO.....- Water your carpet regularly and shake it outside to remove dirt and dust- Hoover your carpet from side to side only- Consider a specialized carpet cleaning service to clean the entire carpet. The washing is great, you can use your bathtub, but these mats are extremely heavy when wet.... I tried it!
